Mediation Services

 

The Negotiation Lab offers mediation intervention by Samuel Passow  as well as workshops for senior management or human resource departments of corporations and organizations who have to deal with internal disputes and conflicts (such as employment rights, discrimination, sexual harassment, e-mail & internet misuse, and compliance issues) before they potentially escalate to legal battles in court.

Sam is an accredited mediator in the UK, EU (through CEDR, ADR Group and Regents College) and in Australia & New Zealand (through LEADR), is a member of the UK Civil Mediation Council and served on the panel mediators at Canterbury Christ Church University Mediation Clinic. For the past 25 years, he has dealt with commercial disputes, community disputes, divorce settlements, personal injury and insurance claims. He has also co-authored two books on mediation, "Mediation in the Workplace" and "Conduct & Discipline", both published by Wolters Kluwers (UK).

 

How mediation can help you

Mediation offers a number of distinct advantages to all parties in a dispute. Mediation is:

  • Confidential: Any information you share with mediators will not be discussed outside of mediation.
  • Impartial: Our mediators will support you through each step of the process, and will not judge you, or take sides.
  • Empowering: Mediation gives you the chance to resolve the dispute yourself. With the help of our mediators, you can reach a solution that both parties are satisfied with.
  • Voluntary: For mediation to work, both parties must want to resolve the dispute. No side will be forced to take part, and both sides are free to leave at any time during the process.

Our fees

Our ethos for our fee structure is to provide a cost-effective service to meet and support your needs, while delivering a quality and professional service.  We offere Pro Bono services for those who are on public assistance.
